This product is fair trade authentic African black soap, made traditionally by the local women in the villages of Ghana. This soap does not contain any dyes, fragrances, or perfumes and is made without adding lye. So, for people with sensitive skin and those who are allergic to certain additives, African black soap is a great substitute for modern soaps. It’s natural antibacterial properties help to remove bacteria from the skin which can prevent and clear acne. Because it has antifungal properties, it can even be used to fight/prevent dandruff on the scalp. Black soap can also be helpful with skin conditions such as hyperpigmentation by fading discoloration and dark spots. And has a soothing effect on itching and pain caused by eczema, psoriasis, or mild rashes. Unlike some modern soaps, which can leave behind a residue after washing or cause oil build up, African black soap comes off easily when rinsed with water, leaving the skin feeling clean and not sticky.

Ingredients: plantain skin ash, palm oil, palm kernel oil, cocoa pod ash, coconut oil, unrefined shea butter, purified water, natural vitamin E, natural sodium

Directions: Create a lather using warm water and a wash cloth, then use to wash face, body or hair. For external use only. Do not use on broken skin.
